The Annual Grant Program (AGP) gives money to Mecklenburg County nonprofits and government groups to run projects that prevent, treat, or research substance misuse. For FY 2027, only organizations that got a grant in FY 2026 can apply. Grants must continue existing projects, not start new ones, and each award can be up to $75,000. Applicants must show they are stable, growing, and serve the local community. Applications open October 1 and close October 15, 2025. The ABC Board offers help and guidance through email, workshops, and their online system.
