OJJDP FY25 Expanding Tribal Children’s Advocacy Centers

This program helps improve children’s advocacy centers (CACs) that support American Indian and Alaska Native communities. It funds projects that make CACs stronger, give better care to child abuse victims and their families, and improve how cases are investigated. The program also provides training, resources, and guidance to help Tribal communities create new CACs or improve existing ones. It focuses on teamwork between different professionals and partnerships with Tribal governments to make sure children get the help and protection they need.

this nofo supports the expansion and enhancement of children’s advocacy centers (cacs) serving american indian and alaska native communities to improve investigative responses and treatment services for victims of child abuse and their families. the program will deliver coordinated information, resource development, and training and technical assistance (tta) to assist tribal communities in establishing facility-based multidisciplinary programs that respond to child abuse and deliver support to existing cacs serving and partnering with tribal governments and native communities.
